My Story
2022 is a special year for Action Against Medical Accidents (AvMA) as they celebrate their 40th anniversary. Irwin Mitchell’s Medical Negligence team are committed to supporting victims of medical negligence and have worked with AVMA for the last 40 years.
AvMA is an independent charity providing free advice and support to people affected by avoidable harm in healthcare. AvMA also seeks to improve patient safety and make systems for investigation and redress fairer for all.
AvMA is celebrating 40 years of promoting patient safety and justice by using this milestone as an opportunity to raise awareness of the continuing need to improve patient safety and justice for those affected by medical accidents.
In support of AvMA’s 40th anniversary, Irwin Mitchell’s Medical Negligence team have committed to ‘40 days of fundraising’ to raise vital funds to help AvMA to continue providing their invaluable services.
